Last night, I googled Beyoncé’s name because I was working on a PC and I don’t know how to give her the accent she deserves. And when I did that I found that she just might be attaching herself to a remake of one of our favorite childhood films: The Lion King.

Last month, we reported that Donald Glover is set to play Simba in the live-action remake and that James Earl Jones would reprise his role as Mufasa. Because really, there can be no other.

Anyway, according to Variety, director Jon Favreau, who was also behind the most recent, live-action The Jungle Book is interested in Beyoncé for the role of Nala.

Insiders stress the fact that the singer has not made a decision yet as to whether she will accept the offer, you know being pregnant with twins and all, but being that a voice-acting role is less demanding, sources say the studio and Favreau are willing to work around Beyoncé’s schedule.

The Lion King was originally released in 1994 and is one of the highest grossing films of all time, grossing $968.5 million worldwide.

If she chooses to accept the role, it wouldn’t be the first time the singer lent voice to an animated film. She did so with Epic in 2013.
